Located on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington, the Bacon Mansion is just two blocks north of the Broadway business district that has many restaurants and shops. We are in the designated Harvard-Belmont Landmark District with great architectural diversity and an urban forest. The 22-Acre Volunteer Park is just up the hill a couple blocks and features the Seattle Asian Art Museum and a Victorian conservatory and water tower with a great view and adjacent to Lakeview Cemetery.
The bus line is just a short block away and can whisk you downtown and to Pike Place Market in less than 15 minutes as it is but 2 miles away. New Capitol Hill Light rail station 7 flat blocks away going to downtown and all the way to SeaTac Airport. Our bed and breakfast is close enough to everything, yet far enough away to make your stay here quiet and relaxing.
The Bacon Mansion guestrooms vary in size and decor. From two rooms with shared bath in third floor dormers to the huge Capitol Suite with a king bed and queen bed in an attached sunroom, we have something for everyone. We even have a carriage house with two separate rooms, the main floor suite being handicap accessible. Rates vary based on time of year, room, and any additional guests.
Our main floor is very spacious with a turn-of-the-century library, dining room that seats 14 at a time, large living room with grand piano, and foyer. Guests enjoy the outside patio with a fountain. We occasionally host private events on the main floor and patio.
