Swantown Inn Bed & Breakfast

Relax in the sitting room with a hot beverage or sip lemonade in the gazebo, taking in the Inn's half acre of gardens and orchard. Discover Olympia's vibrant downtown shops, coffeehouses and restaurants or stroll along the boardwalk to the Farmer's Market for music, crafts and local produce. Wander one of the scenic parks, or head out for a day hike in the Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainier or Mt. St. Helens. Whatever your interests (even solitude and a good book!) your Innkeepers are sure to make your stay a pleasant one.

The Astoria Room: Our grandest of accommodations, this large room features a romantic four poster king bed, sitting area with full sized couch, table and chairs, private bath with two person Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and view of the gardens and Capitol dome.

Deschutes Room:
This room features a luxurious King bed, where you can lie down and enjoy the view out of the double windows. You can see our vegetable and flower gardens, with the State Capitol towering majestically before the Black Hills in the distance. With a warm fluffy comforter (or blanket in warmer weather) the bed is the perfect place to take an nap, with the afternoon sun bathing the room with light and warmth.

There are two wingback style recliners, which are comfortable enough to take a nap in or sit and read a good book.

Business travelers will appreciate the writing desk, with power easily accessible for laptops (and our Wireless Internet is accessible from the room as well).

The room has a private bath with shower.

Percival Room:  This bright and airy 12’ by 13’ room features a roomy king sized bed with a luxury eurotop mattress, and private bathroom with shower.

There is also a reading nook with a couples’ wing back style seat, perfect for planning your next adventure or sharing a glass of wine with your special someone. For those occasions when work and pleasure co-mingle there is also a small secretary’s desk for your laptop and our Wireless Internet is accessible from the room.

Columbia Room: A comfortable room with queen size brass bed, table and two chairs, and large private Victorian bath featuring a claw foot tub and foot soaking tub which were relocated from the original bathroom located on the first floor of the house. This bathroom is two steps across the hall from the room, but transports you to another time all together. This room also has views of the gardens and the Capitol dome.

Business Travelers: We are a popular choice for business travelers, as our rooms feature Wireless Internet Access and plenty of hanging space for suits, shirts or dresses.  As a guest you have access to our sitting room, where you can entertain clients and business partners.  Also in the sitting room is a computer complete with laser printer and fax machine for your use.  We strive to make every business traveler?s visit productive and comfortable.  Ask about special rates for long term stays.  

Note: Olympia is less than an hours drive south from Seattle and under two hours north of Portland, Oregon (along Interstate 5).
