Our charming Dutch Colonial Cottage wraps you in the charm of yesterday with it's nurturing elements and casual elegance along with complete privacy during your stay. Voted "BEST INTERIOR DESIGN & DECOR" by Arrington's Bed & Breakfast Journal for and with the most privacy for 2005.

As you enter through the Cottage's whimsical full service retro styled kitchen, wonderful aromas of fresh baked goodies fill the air and are for your enjoyment upon arrival. The Antique Gas Range, the whimsical "Red Refrigerator", microwave, coffee maker, blender & shake machine are for your use.

Our Living Room features a cozy gas fireplace, comfortable seating, TV/VCR/DVD & decorated with casual elegance in mind, with lace curtains and decoratively painted walls.

In the Library, a Formal English Garden Mural adds to your relaxation, along with a lovely antique drop front desk for your use. Set up your laptop, and conduct any business you have with the data port connection available.

Also on the first floor is the Roman inspired bath, featuring a double Jacuzzi bath for two, complete with spa fragrances. Romantic music can be enjoyed while bathing from overhead speakers. A large double glass block shower with two shower heads will sooth you after a fun day at the beach or park. Painted with Roman Column's and Lime Stone Faux wall, it is hard to tell where the real tile ends and the faux treatment begins. Be sure to check behind the door!

Upstairs in the loft with a 6'2" ceiling height, the master bedroom is a very Romantic French Country styled room. A large 1895 Armoire has soft cotton robes and slippers for your pleasure. The Queen size bed is covered in Blue & white Toile Fabrics with fresh all cotton 275 count freshly hand pressed sheets, down blanket and a lofty comforter, as well as fluffy down and poly pillows.

Again, the CEILING HEIGHT in our upstairs cottage is 6' 2".

A second bedroom is available for two adults in the same party, at a extra charge on the second floor.

Were just a short distance from Sea-Tac Airport and closer yet to the newely renovated historic area of downtown Tacoma. Attractions include the University of WA Tacoma Campus,Public Golf, Genealogy Research in Federal Way and Tacoma at the LDS Church. Tacoma Art Museum, Chihouly Glass Museum, Tacoma Opera, Philharmonic and Symphony. Broadway Antiques, Point Defiance Zoo, N.W.Trek, Mt. Rainier, St. Helens, WA State Ferries to Puget Sound Islands.
