Fisherman's Widow Bed & Breakfast

Our lodging is decorated with the outdoorsman in mind, accented with a touch of lace and elegance.

Our Grounds are a treat to the eye. We love trees and the center of our grounds is a towering grove of evergreens and conifers mixed with other species of flowering and ornamental trees. These are all mixed among two generations of old growth stumps carpeted by lilies of the valley, sheep choral and other natural Flora and Fauna. It's all accented by beautiful flowers and shrubs many of which are native. Including Rhododendrons taller than some of the trees all against the back drop of the beautiful Sol Duc River.

You are welcome to work out on our four station Universal Gym or walk the miles of private roads just across the river. Bring your bicycle to ride these same roads overlooking the scenic Sol Duc River valley. Fishermen can launch their boat in the morning and not worry about shuttling their boat trailer. While men are fishing, wives can enjoy the local gift shops.

THE GOURMET BREAKFAST is a sure delight; our specialty is crepes, served with fresh berries from our garden topped with real whipped cream. We also serve scones, croissants, blueberry muffins, fresh fruit or melons (when in season) and a variety of other specialties. All this is served in the dining area over looking the beautiful Sol Duc River.

The Rivers Edge Room is just what the name implies, overlooking the Olympic Peninsula's beautiful Sol Duc river, just 75 feet from the waters edge. This charming room has the warmth of recycled old growth fir and cedar and the elegance of hand made drapes and duvet covers (over feather down comforters). It has a private bath with a Jacuzzi and a private  entrance with it's own access to the deck where you can lounge and enjoy a river so clear that you can count every pebble on the bottom. Enjoy the fresh air that you can't get anywhere but on the banks of a pristine river. Soaking in the hot tub with it's view of the river is uniquely relaxing. After a very quiet nights sleep, you have Angie's gourmet breakfast to look forward to.

The Bears Den is larger and so cozy you could curl up under under the feather down comforters, in one of the canopy beds, and hibernate. It is a romantic and charming room that captures the warmth of recycled old growth and a very elegant decor  with lace and fineness, yet still offers the whimsy of Teddy bears. It has a private bath with a large Jacuzzi, a private entrance (just a few steps from the hot tub that has it's own view of the river) and access to our view of the beautiful Sol Duc river and the deck overlooking a river so clean and clear that you have to see it to understand the feeling it gives you. With this room also, you have Angie's gourmet breakfast to look forward to after a quiet night sleep.
